This competition is open to all ABA accredited law schools in the Seventh Circuit.
Early Bird Registration will open September 27, 2024. Schools that register their team between September 27 and October 31 may do so at the reduced rate of $500 per team. Teams that register November 1, 2024, or later will pay the regular registration fee of $600 per team. Registration closes on December 6, 2024, or whenever available slots have filled up – whichever comes first.Beginning September 27, 2024, registration may be done online, and payment accepted via credit card. Registration is non-refundable once the deadline has passed. Each eligible school in the Seventh Circuit is allowed to register one team. (See rules for team composition.) There is a twelve-team maximum for this competition. Once the maximum has been reached, interested teams may be placed on a waiting list in the event a team does not follow through with registration payment or withdraws from the competition prior to the registration deadline.
The 2025 Competition will take place in Chicago in early March. The preliminary rounds will take place on a Friday, March 7. The semifinal and final rounds will take place on a Saturday, March 8. There will be a Welcome Reception on Thursday, March 6.

In addition to monetary awards, plaques will be given and there will also be a traveling trophy for the winning team to showcase at their school until they return it to the Competition Committe at the following year’s competition.
