Early Bird Registration will open September 26, 2025. Schools that register their team between September 26 and October 30 may do so at a reduced rate. Teams that register October 31, 2025, or later will pay the regular registration fee. Registration closes on December 5, 2025, or whenever available slots have filled up – whichever comes first.Beginning September 26, 2025, registration of ABA accredited law schools within the Seventh Circuit may be done online, and payment accepted via credit card. Registration is non-refundable once the deadline has passed. Each eligible school in the Seventh Circuit is allowed to register one team. (See rules for team composition.) There is a twelve-team maximum for this competition. Schools interested in sending a second team may be added to the waiting list in the event less than twelve teams register for the competition; a team does not follow through with registration payment; or a team withdraws from the competition prior to the registration deadline.
The 2026 Competition will take place at the Everett McKinley Dirksen United States Courthouse in early March. The preliminary rounds will take place on a Friday, March 6. The semifinal and final rounds will take place on a Saturday, March 7. There will be a Welcome Reception on Thursday, March 5.
